No Pain

When my brother was 18, he went on a senior class trip to the Bahamas. They went on an excursion on one of those little motor bikes, and my brother was a passenger. For some reason, the driver was distracted or something, but the bike wound up going under a bus. My brother had a helmet on; however, he had still had a concussion and his glasses were crushed into his nose. He needed stitches. His leg was broken. He was a mess. When we saw him, his leg was in a cast and he looked bad, but he had no pain. My mother attributed that to her praying to the Blessed Mother.  She said, “I know he has been injured really badly, but please don’t let him have any pain. ”
