Today’s Miracles of Christ was established by Lifting Our Values to enlighten us to just a few of the countless miracles Christ is performing today. This was done with the hope that if we come to learn about some of His miracles, we will grow in our belief. Then from greater faith, we can seek Jesus to heal us of our bodily and spiritual aliments, so we can grow into a saving and then perfect faith in Christ.
“So Jesus said to him, “’Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe’” (John 4:48). Coming to more fully believe in God through miracles might not be the best way to grow in faith, but for many, seeing signs and wonders will be the only way, which is why God is performing miracles for us today.
Just as Jesus did in the biblical times, He is still healing the sick, making the lame walk, giving sight to the blind, and raising the dead so we may believe. However, most people don’t know of the miracles because many people don’t continue to proclaim the good news after a miracle has been performed, and there are few organized documentations of them.
Today’s Miracles of Christ intends to fill that void, providing people with some accounts of the wonders God is working within their midst, so as to strengthen their faith in Christ as their healer and Savior.
As faithful Christians, we need to share the stories of God’s miracles (submit your testimony) so Christ can work through us to increase the faith of His children. Then God’s children can seek Him, with greater faith, and be able to accept more of His grace to hopefully obtain a life of real peace and happiness… and most importantly the reward of eternal life.
Oh, how many are turning for healing to false gods… food, vacations… conversations, things… drugs, drink… powers, energies, when the unfathomable healing of mind and body from the real God, is waiting for them.
“Do not trust every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God… every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus [as the one doing the healing] does not belong to God [no matter how “good” it makes you feel; it will NOT lead to Everlasting Life (true happiness)]. This is the spirit of the antichrist that, as you heard, is to come, but in fact is already in the world [and he wants to lead you to your doom].” (1 John 4:1-3)
